The London Home Cinema Company was created as a division of Pounds, a family business established in 1947, to separate the successful award winning home cinema business from its busy audio visual and home appliance retail operation. After attending George Lucas’ Skywalker Studios training facility back in 1994 to obtain LucasFilm THX certification, we invested in purpose-built demonstration rooms to promote properly designed and calibrated systems. We have won the Best Home Cinema category at the Home Cinema Choice magazine awards three times. In 2008 the business moved from Enfield to Winchmore Hill, north London, and the separate company was created. The London Home Cinema Company has two distinctive demonstration areas within the new store. These rooms allow you to experience home cinema at its best, and to get a good idea of how it might work in your home. As well as cinema, we are also a Certified Control4 Showroom.  We have many repeat clients and referrals from satisfied ones, all of whom have experienced our service and commitment to delivering the best possible results for any budget.
